Located on the lowest level of the Kenyan Rift Valley, Lake Magadi encompasses around 100 square kilometers and is a sight to behold. Its bed is made up of solid and semi-solid soda, and the salt sheets can be incredibly thick during the dry months of the year. The lake is known for exhibiting a vivid pink hue, which gives the landscape a wonderful, alien-like allure. Attracting wading flamingos, it's the southernmost lake in the Kenyan Rift Valley, embedded amid volcanic rocks to the north of Tanzania's Lake Natron.
